Finals Post

My three finals pieces were my original character in her kimono type outfit, the basic design of the Rainbow Tower, and the manga cover design for Akuryou No Tsumi.

These will be shown in the order that I typed them up.

This was done for background designs and buildings to be drawn for scenery.

This was done for different outfits.

This was the one that I obviously spent the most time on. I researched layouts for manga covers, and this seemed to be the best one and most commonly used. Colour schemes are picked based upon the type of manga it will be, for example Red, Black and Grey would not be good for a very upbeat and happy type of manga, it clearly gives the feel of a darker story.

Had this done for awhile too, now I'm posting it. I was more so focused on the outfit and basic body figure as opposed to the face and hair like I usually do.

Desert Eagle Gun Drawing practice

For one of my independent projects, I needed to draw a Desert Eagle hand gun. I looked up a few references of Desert Eagles and this is what I came up with for basic drawings of the gun.

By looking at good references of hand drawings, I finally found out how they work. I practiced a lot and this is what I came up with X3

MANGA COVER LAYOUT BLAH

I did a manga layout design as to what each side of a manga cover should look like. I did some rough sketches of what they should look like. The dimensions of a manga cover is usually 10.5 inches by 7.5 inches.

I've been working on a character's concept art for a deviant art OCT (Original Character Tournament) that I plan to enter once it opens up. I have no clue when that is supposed to be, so in the mean time, I can work on my audition entry and concepts.
